Aegan- Ajith's venture after the mega success of Billa. With Ajith, Nayantara, Raju, Yuvan,jryaram etc.,. What would you expect? A action movie with dance and fun. That is exactly what Aegan seems to be for the audience.


The Storyline
Ajith is a ruthless- like cop, he is sent on a mission to a college as a student to save the daughter of a criminal from the baddie Suman.

Music
Yuvan has again composed some great songs in Aegan, the song "Malikka" is a jazzy song it is the best number in the movie. Otherwise sings like "Hey sala" seem very unseasoned. Yuvan seems to be repetitive in his styles of music. The pep up music for Ajith in Aegan, sound similar to the billa theme. Yuvan still stuck with the Billa effect.

Dance
The best thing for an Ajith fan would be to see Ajith dance equally like his competitors. In Aegan Ajith serve the order. If you thought Ajith was a terrible dancer think again after watching Aegan. The brainchild is definitely Raju sundaram. He again proves that Dance does not mean mere fast movement of the body parts, he has wonderfully cheoreographed the songs in Aegan.
The choreo syncs with the music wonderfully. Raju has provided some great steps for Ajith to match his Style and looks.

Fun
You would be thinking Fun? in a Action movie like Aegan... Yes there is lot of fun in Aegan.
I would appreciate Ajith for making fun of himself, yeah in one scene Ajith makes fun of his unruly beard and his "thoppai". Ajith has experimented with comedy, it has quite worked out well. Ajith's innocent reactions and witty dialogues while romancing with nayantara is impressive. Jayaram and his peon provided a lot of fun. But however some comic dialogues were repeated which was irritating.

Cast
Ajith- Top performance, tried a different genre ( comedy) and succeeded.
Nayahtara_- Skin Show nothing more.
Suman- average performance, the wig could been better. however the salt and pepper style was innovative.
Jayaram- Nice fun, But very few screen space for a veteran
Suhasini- nice performance, but she does not look like a mother to abhi.
Other- average

Key points

• Nayantara's dress did not match her character. (skimpy dress, for a professor)
• Ajith has again made style statements in the movie- Great looks!!
• Great Choreography
• No depth in storyline, At times you forget the storyline while watching the movie.
• Bad editing, the scenes were not well placed and edited.
• Great movie For Ajith Fans.
• The climax did not have a punch.
• The seemed to be incomplete, may due to the rush for deepavali.

SK(Sakarrakatti) is Rahman's latest. It is the debut venture of Santhanu son of veteren director Bhagyaraj. The success of the movie depends solely on the Music because it is youthful subject.


So the responsibility solely carried on by one man - AR Rahman. He has composed the required music as always.

Chinama Chinakama: This song is remake of Rahman's own song from "Meenaxi"- The tale of two cities. The flute at the begginging of the song is very refreshing in the low sound. The is very folky kind but the female voice as sung it in a very western voice,(rahman likes mixing it up). The lyrics of the song fits perfectly to the tune, It is indeed a great work by Pa.Vijay.



Elay Elay: The Song is very youthful and refreshing. However the strings sounded like Roobaroo from RDB.Anyway this is new to tamil music.

The highlight of the song is definitely the voices of Naresh Iyer and Krish of June ponal fame. This is Krish's debut with Rahman, His Dream composer.The lyrics of the song is very futuristic and scientific or rather sci-fi, It is a surprise that Vaali wrote the song. He is still youthfull in his thought Long Live Vaali!!

I Miss You Da: This song is a husky number. the song at the first looks awkward but then later seems good, It is because of the experimentation with Beats with Rahman. But definitely the Song is distinct. The Voice of Chinmayee is husky, One wonders how she can show so much variations in her voice From Mayya Mayya to Sahana pookal and then this I Miss you da!!

Naan Epothu penn: This song is a wonderful melody by Rahman, The Voice of Reena Bharadwaj is the Highlight of the song. The beats of the song is Very Folky and sounds wonderful with the Voice. This song is also a remake of one of Rahman's hindi Songs.

Maruthani Maruthani: This is the Song of the album and it sure to find hits in FMs. The Voice of Madhushree is very melodious, however her problem with Tamil Still continues. But She has shown improvement in this Song. The highlight of the song is Rahaman's interludes it Just sounds MAgical !! I wish he had sung a few lines in the song

Taxi Taxi: This sing is peppy number. The song starts very well, THe beats are Electrifying and definetly the Rap by BAaZe is also amazing. The song is About friendship in a humourous tone.This Song is a sure hit. And it is ready to make people dance.
