SK(Sakarrakatti) is Rahman's latest. It is the debut venture of Santhanu son of veteren director Bhagyaraj. The success of the movie depends solely on the Music because it is youthful subject.


So the responsibility solely carried on by one man - AR Rahman. He has composed the required music as always.

Chinama Chinakama: This song is remake of Rahman's own song from "Meenaxi"- The tale of two cities. The flute at the begginging of the song is very refreshing in the low sound. The is very folky kind but the female voice as sung it in a very western voice,(rahman likes mixing it up). The lyrics of the song fits perfectly to the tune, It is indeed a great work by Pa.Vijay.



Elay Elay: The Song is very youthful and refreshing. However the strings sounded like Roobaroo from RDB.Anyway this is new to tamil music.

The highlight of the song is definitely the voices of Naresh Iyer and Krish of June ponal fame. This is Krish's debut with Rahman, His Dream composer.The lyrics of the song is very futuristic and scientific or rather sci-fi, It is a surprise that Vaali wrote the song. He is still youthfull in his thought Long Live Vaali!!

I Miss You Da: This song is a husky number. the song at the first looks awkward but then later seems good, It is because of the experimentation with Beats with Rahman. But definitely the Song is distinct. The Voice of Chinmayee is husky, One wonders how she can show so much variations in her voice From Mayya Mayya to Sahana pookal and then this I Miss you da!!

Naan Epothu penn: This song is a wonderful melody by Rahman, The Voice of Reena Bharadwaj is the Highlight of the song. The beats of the song is Very Folky and sounds wonderful with the Voice. This song is also a remake of one of Rahman's hindi Songs.

Maruthani Maruthani: This is the Song of the album and it sure to find hits in FMs. The Voice of Madhushree is very melodious, however her problem with Tamil Still continues. But She has shown improvement in this Song. The highlight of the song is Rahaman's interludes it Just sounds MAgical !! I wish he had sung a few lines in the song

Taxi Taxi: This sing is peppy number. The song starts very well, THe beats are Electrifying and definetly the Rap by BAaZe is also amazing. The song is About friendship in a humourous tone.This Song is a sure hit. And it is ready to make people dance.
